The Tab and pdf files are my own work. Some are copies of handwritten notes that I collected and compiled over the years, and others are transcribed from tutorials posted by talented online teachers.

My Tabs are put together and formatted in Notepad, transformed to MS Word, and converted to PDF format for download.

Most Songs include an Audio file for reference purposes. The Audio files are gathered from my personal music library OR extracted from websites offering free guitar lessons. Wonderful Tonight (Fingerstyle) - yunus guitarist
"Wonderful Tonight" is a song written and performed by English singer Eric Clapton. The ballad was included on Clapton's 1977 album Slow hand. Clapton wrote the song on his 1974 Martin D-28 guitar about Pattie Boyd. The female vocal harmonies on the song are provided by Marcella Detroit (then Marcy Levy) and Yvonne Elliman. It peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 on 15 July 1978, spending seven weeks in the top 40. In Canada it was in the top 40 for nine weeks.
-----------.

An interlude is an instrumental passage that connects different parts of the song. Interludes generally do not have a fixed length and some artists may even use interludes to transition from one song to another in an album.

Although there is no singular definition for an “interlude” in music, artists have often used it as a way to transition from one verse to another.

Skip to My Lou - willc
“Skip to My Lou” is a simple game of stealing partners (or swapping partners as in square dancing). It begins with any number of couples hand in hand, skipping around in a ring. A lone boy in the center of the moving circle of couple sings, “Lost my partner what’ll I do?” as the girls whirl past him. The young man in the center hesitates while he decides which girl to choose, singing, “I'll get another one prettier than you.” When he grasps the hand of his chosen one, her partner then takes his place in the center of the ring and the game continues. It's an ice-breaker, a good dance to get a group acquainted to one another and to get everyone in the mood for swinging around.

It's interesting to note that “loo” is the Scottish word for “love.” The spelling change from “loo” to “lou” probably happened as Anglo-Americans, and the song, became Americanized.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
      D D A7 A7
That saved a wretch like me.
   D D G D
I once was lost, but now I'm found,
    D A7 D D
Was blind, but now I see.

Twas grace that thought my heart to fear,
And grace my fear relieved.
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believed.

Chorus

When we've been here ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when did when we first begun.

          G '
From this valley they say you are goin'

Verse 2:
-------

Do you think of the valley you're leavin'
Oh how lonely and dreary it will be
Do you think of the fond heart you're breakin'
And the sadness you've cast over me

Chorus:

Come and sit by my side if you love me
Do not hasten to bid me adieu
But remember the Red River Valley
And the cowboy that has loved you so true

Verse 3:
-------

For a long time my dear, I've been waiting
For the words that you never would say
And alas my poor heart you are breakin'
For they tell me you're goin' away

Chorus:
------

Come and sit by my side if you love me
Do not hasten to bid me adieu
But remember the Red River Valley
And the cowboy that has loved you so true

Verse 4:
-------

As you go to your home by the ocean
May you never forget those sweet hours
That we spent in the Red River Valley
And the love we exchanged mid the flowers

Chorus:
------

Come and sit by my side if you love me
Do not hasten to bid me adieu
But remember the Red River Valley
And the cowboy that has loved you so true

Your vows you've broken, like my heart,
Oh, why did you so enrapture me?
Now I remain in a world apart
But my heart remains in captivity.

Chorus

I have been ready at your hand,
To grant whatever you would crave,
I have both wagered life and land,
Your love and good-will for to have.

Chorus

If you intend thus to disdain,
It does the more enrapture me,
And even so, I still remain
A lover in captivity.

Chorus

My men were clothed all in green,
And they did ever wait on thee;
All this was gallant to be seen,
And yet thou wouldst not love me.

Chorus

Thou couldst desire no earthly thing,
But still thou hadst it readily.
Thy music still to play and sing;
And yet thou wouldst not love me.

Chorus

Well, I will pray to God on high,
That thou my constancy mayst see,
And that yet once before I die,
Thou wilt vouchsafe to love me.

Chorus

Ah, Greensleeves, now farewell, adieu,
To God I pray to prosper thee,
For I am still thy lover true,
Come once again and love me.

Chorus

Greensleeves (Fingerstyle) - Unknown
Greensleeves is a traditional English folk song and tune, a ground either of the form called a romanesca or of its slight variant, the passamezzo antico.

The tune is found in several late-16th-century and early 17th-century sources, such as Ballet's MS Lute Book and Het Luitboek van Thysius, as well as various manuscripts preserved in the Cambridge University libraries.

There is a persistent belief that Greensleeves was composed by Henry VIII for his lover and future queen consort Anne Boleyn. Boleyn allegedly rejected King Henry's attempts to seduce her and this rejection may be referred to in the song when the writer's love "cast me off discourteously". However, Henry did not compose "Greensleeves", which is probably Elizabethan in origin and is based on an Italian style of composition that did not reach England until after his death.

Crimson and Clover - Tommy James and The Shondells
Crimson and Clover is a 1968 song by American rock band Tommy James and the Shondells. Written by the duo of Tommy James and drummer Peter Lucia Jr., it was intended as a change in direction of the group's sound and composition.

Tommy James made a rough mix of Crimson and Clover to show to Roulette Records executive Morris Levy for evaluation. The band was still intending to improve on the mix with ambient sound and echo. A few days later, James stopped at WLS radio station in Chicago – who he had previously had positive experience with – to get their reaction. After an interview discussing the single, he was convinced to play the rough mix for WLS off-air. Unbeknown to James, the station recorded the song, and they shortly played it on-air in November 1968 as a world exclusive.

Hanky Panky - Tommy James and The Shondells
"Hanky Panky" is a song written by Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich for their group, The Raindrops. A 1964 recording by The Shondells, later reissued in 1966 under the band's new, and more successful, incarnation of "Tommy James and the Shondells" is the best known version reaching #1 in the United States in 1966.

The lyrics of this song convey the excitement of a hormonal lad driven mad by a girl who knows how to do the suggestive dance of the title, building themselves around the oft-repeated lyrical hook of "My baby does the hanky panky." The music is equally simple and infectious, building itself on simple verse and chorus melodies that bounce up and down in a pleasant, bouncy fashion.

Good Lovin - The Young Rascals
Good Lovin' is a song written by Rudy Clark and Arthur Resnick that was a number one hit single for The Young Rascals in 1966.

The song was first recorded in early 1965 by Canton, Ohio, R&B singer Limmie Snell under the name "Lemme B. Good". About a month later the song was redone -- with considerably rewritten lyrics -- by R&B/novelty artists The Olympics, but this version was only moderately successful at best, reaching number 81 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart.

The Kids Are Alright - The Who
"The Kids Are Alright" is a song written by Pete Townshend of The Who. It appears as the seventh track on the group's first album My Generation (1965).

It was not released as a single until more than six months after it first appeared on the LP, first in the United States, and in the UK the following month. While not a huge hit at the time (reaching number 41 in the UK and number 85 in the US), the song, along with the album's title track, became anthems for the group and the Mod subculture of England in the 1960s. It later became the name of the documentary for the band in 1979.

The song uses a standard I-IV-V chord progression in the key of D while the chorus uses a ii-V-IV-I chord progression. The song was edited for the U.K. single and this version has become much more common than the original full-length U.K. album version. The edit of the song features a substantially shortened instrumental break.

A promotional film for the song was shot in Hyde Park in July or August of 1966. In addition to appearing on My Generation, the beginning of the song can be heard on Quadrophenia, after the song "Helpless Dancer" has faded out.

Substitute - The Who
Substitute is a song by The Who written by Pete Townshend. It was released as a single in March 1966, when it reached #5 in the UK, and was later included on the compilation album Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy in 1971. It became a UK top ten hit again when re-issued in 1976, reaching #7.

The concept for the song was supposedly originally inspired by Townshend’s idea that The Who were a 'substitute' for The Rolling Stones (Townshend had been particularly impressed by The Stones' hit "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and was determined to come up with a memorable riff in response), though it was later described as a comment about the blurring between image and reality.

I Can't Explain - The Who
I Can't Explain is a song by the English rock band The Who, written by Pete Townshend, and produced by Shel Talmy. The song was issued as a single in December 1964 in the United States and on 15 January 1965 in the United Kingdom.

I Can't Explain was the A-side of the group's first single released under the name The Who—their previous single, "I'm the Face"/"Zoot Suit," was released as The High Numbers. The song's intro resembles "Louie Louie". In the album's liner notes, Townshend also noted the song's similarity to the contemporaneous hit single "All Day and All of the Night" by The Kinks.

Wild Thing - The Troggs
The song's central guitar riff is immediately recognizable and frames the central lyrics.
The Troggs' version was recorded in mono in one piece on the second take at Olympic Studios, which was then at Carton Street, off Baker Street in London, by engineer Keith Grant.

Because of a distribution dispute, The Troggs' single was available on two competing labels: Atco and Fontana. Because both pressings were taken from the identical master recording, Billboard combined the sales for both releases, making it the only single to simultaneously reach No. 1 for two companies.

Introduction: E E E E E E E E

Verse:

E E [G E]
Four little words just to get me along
          E E [G E]
It's a difficulty and I'm biting on my tongue and I
         E E [G E]
I keep stalling, keeping me together
                     E [G A]
People around gotta find something to say now

                    A [G A]
Holding back, everyday the same
                  A [G A]
Don't wanna be a loner. Listen to me, oh no
          A [G A]
I never say anything at all
          A A
But with nothing to consider
     B B B B [G E]
They forget my name (ame, ame, ame)

Chorus:

E E
They call me "Hell"
E E [G E]
They call me "Stacey"
E E
They call me "Her"
E E [G A]

That's not my name
               A [G E]
That's not my name

They call me "Quiet Gal"
But I'm a riot
Mary, Jo, Lisa
Always the same
That's not my name
That's not my name
That's not my name
That's not my name

Verse:

I miss the catch if they throw me the ball
I'm the last chick standing up against the wall
Keep up, falling, these heels they keep me boring
Getting glammed up and sitting on the fence now

So alone all the time at night
Lock myself away
Listen to me, oh no
Although I'm dressed up, out and all with
Everything considered
They forget my name (ame, ame, ame)

Chorus:

They call me "Hell"
They call me "Stacey"
They call me "Her"
They call me "Jane"
That's not my name
That's not my name
That's not my name
That's not my name

They call me "Quiet Girl"
But I'm a riot
Mary, Jo, Lisa
Always the same
That's not my name
That's not my name
That's not my name
That's not my name

That's Not My Name - The Ting Tings
"That’s Not My Name" is the third single by British duo The Ting Tings from their debut studio album We Started Nothing. Vocalist Katie White states that the song was written "with me ranting about my frustrations with the record industry." The song was originally released as a double A-side with "Great DJ" by independent record label Switchflicker Records on 28 May 2007. After heavy promotion and support from BBC Radio 1 and the NME, the single was re-released individually on 12 May 2008 on Columbia Records.

Gloria - The Shadows of Knight
Gloria is the first album by the Shadows of Knight, released in 1966. The Shadows of Knight are primarily known for their hit version of the Van Morrison penned Them band's "Gloria". At the same time, the band today is regarded as one of the original punk bands.

The band's association with "Gloria" has caused some to miscategorized them as one-hit wonders. One reviewer points out that their first album, and its follow-up, Back Door Men, represent far greater diversity: "(The Gloria album) positively rocks with a raw energy of a band straight out of the teen clubs, playing with a total abandon and an energy level that seems to explode out of the speakers. Equal parts Rolling Stones, Yardbirds, Who, and snotty little Chicago-suburb bad boys, the Shadows of Knight could easily put the torch to Chess blues classics, which make up the majority of the songs included here. Their wild takes on "I Just Want to Make Love to You," "Oh Yeah," and "I Got My Mojo Working" rank right up there with any British Invasion band's version from the same time period

I went down to the demonstration,
To get my fair share of abuse.
Singing "we're gonna vent our frustration,
And if we don't we're gonna blow a 50-amp fuse."

Chorus

I went down to the Chelsea drugstore
To get your prescription filled.
I was standing in line with Mr. Jimmy,
And man, did he look pretty ill.

We decided that we would have a soda,
My favorite flavor, cherry red.
I sung my song to Mr. Jimmy,
And he said one word to me, and that was "dead,
I said to him:

Chorus

Solo (Chorus - 5 lines)
You'll get what you need--yeah, oh baby.

I saw her today at the reception,
In her glass was a bleeding man.
She was practiced at the art of deception,
Well I could tell by her bloodstained hands.

You Can’t Always Get What You Want - The Rolling Stones
You Can't Always Get What You Want is a song by the Rolling Stones released on their 1969 album Let It Bleed. Written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, it was named as the 100th greatest song of all time by Rolling Stone magazine in its 2004 list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

Of the song, Jagger said: "'You Can't Always Get What You Want' was something I just played on the acoustic guitar—one of those bedroom songs. It proved to be quite difficult to record because Charlie couldn't play the groove and so Jimmy Miller had to play the drums. I'd also had this idea of having a choir, probably a gospel choir, on the track, but there wasn't one around at that point. Jack Nitzsche, or somebody, said that we could get the London Bach Choir and we said, 'That will be a laugh.'"

The Last Time - The Rolling Stones
The Last Time is a song by the English rock band The Rolling Stones. This was The Rolling Stones' first British single written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, although Keith Richards admitted in the 2003 book According to the Rolling Stones that '... we came up with The Last Time, which was basically re-adapting a traditional Gospel song that had been sung by the Staple Singers, but luckily the song itself goes back into the mists of time.'.

"The Last Time" was recorded at RCA Studios in Hollywood, California in January 1965. The Last Time was mixed in true stereo, but only bootleggers have a poor quality version, and the stereo version is noticeably shorter than the mono counterpart.

Well, baby used to stay out all night long,

She spent all my money, playing her fast game.
She put me out, it was a pity how I cried,
Table's turnin' now it's her turn to cry..

When I got worried, she would ease my aching head.
But now she's here and there with every man in town,
Still trying to take me for that same old clown.

Owns a block in Saint John's Wood

Your old man took her diamonds
And tiaras by the score
Now she gets her kicks in Stepney
Not in Knightsbridge anymore
So don't you play with me
Cause you're playing with fire

Now you've got some diamonds
And you will have some others
But you'd better watch your step, girl
Or start living with your mother
So don't you play with me
Cause you're playing with fire

So don't you play with me
Cause you're playing with fire

Play With Fire (Fingerstyle) - The Rolling Stones
"Play with Fire" is credited to Nanker Phelge, a pseudonym used when tracks were composed by the entire band, even though lead singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards are the only Rolling Stones to appear on the track. The song was recorded late one night in January 1965 while the Stones were in Los Angeles recording with Phil Spector at the RCA Studios. Richards performed the song's acoustic guitar opening while Jagger handled vocals and tambourine (enhanced using an echo chamber). Spector played bass on a tuned down acoustic guitar, and Jack Nitzsche provided the song's distinctive harpsichord arrangement and tamtams. The Stones left for a tour of Australia the following day.

Verse 2:
-------

I stuck around St. Petersburg
When I saw it was a time for a change
Killed the Czar and his ministers
Anastasia screamed in vain

I rode a tank
Held a general's rank
When the Blitzkrieg raged
And the bodies stank

Chorus:

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game

Verse 3:
-------

I watched with glee
While your kings and queens
Fought for ten decades
For the Gods they made

I shouted out
"Who killed the Kennedys?"
When after all
It was you and me

Verse 4:
------

Let me please introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
And I laid traps for troubadours
Who get killed before they reached Bombay

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game

Chorus:

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game

Verse:
-----

Just as every cop is a criminal
And all the sinners saints
As heads is tails Just call me Lucifer
'Cause I'm in need of some restraint

So if you meet me Have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, and some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse
Or I'll lay your soul to waste, um yeah

Chorus:
------

Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game
um baby, get down

Outro:
-----

Woo, who
Oh yeah, get on down
Oh yeah
Oh yeah!
Tell me baby, what's my name
Tell me honey, baby guess my name
Tell me baby, what's my name
I tell you one time, you're to blame

I'm a Believer - The Monkees
I'm a Believer is a song composed by Neil Diamond and recorded by The Monkees in 1966 with the lead vocals by Micky Dolenz. The single, produced by Jeff Barry, hit the number one spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart for the week ending December 31, 1966 and remained there for seven weeks, becoming the last #1 hit of 1966 and the biggest-selling record for all of 1967. Because of 1,051,280 advance orders, it went gold within two days of release. It is one of the fewer than thirty all-time singles to have sold 10 million (or more) copies worldwide.

Verse:
[Fsus2/C F] Am . .
She'll lie and steal and cheat,
[Fsus2/C F] C . .
and beg you from her knees
[Fsus2/C F] Am G C .
And make you thinks she means it this time
[Fsus2/C F] Am . .
She'll tear a hole in you,
[Fsus2/C F] C . .
the one you can't repair
[Fsus2/C F] Am G C .
But I still love her, I don't really care

Bridge:
F C Am G
When we were young, Oh Oh, we did enough
F C Am G
When it got cold, Ooh Ooh, we bundled up
F C Am G C . .
I cant be told, Ah Ah It can't be done

Verse:
[Fsus2/C F] Am . .
It's better to feel pain,
[Fsus2/C F] C . .
than nothing at all
[Fsus2/C F] Am G C .
The opposite of love's indifference
[Fsus2/C F] Am . .
Pay attention now,
[Fsus2/C F] C . .
I'm standing on your porch screaming out
[Fsus2/C F] Am G C . .
And I wont leave until you come downstairs

Chorus:
             F . C . G . Am
So keep your head up, keep your love
[Am/G F] . C . G . Am
keep your head up, my love

Verse:
G Am . .
I don't blame you dear
    F C . .
for running like you did, all these years
F Am G C .
I would do the same, you'd best believe
      F Am .
The highway signs say we're close, but
F C . .
I don't read those things anymore
  F Am G C . .
I never trusted my own eyes

Bridge:
F C Am G

The roots revival of the last few years has primed listeners for a new generation of rustic, heart-on-the-sleeve music—the kind that nods to tradition while setting off into uncharted territory. The Lumineers walk that line with an unerring gift for timeless melodies and soul-stirring lyrics.

Let It Out (Let It All Hang Out) - The Hombres
The Hombres were from the Memphis area (Bill Cunningham's brother was in the Box Tops), but it was Texas/Louisiana legend Huey P. Meaux who produced this weird cross between 'Gloria' and 'Subterranean Homesick Blues' which made it to #12 in November, 1967.

American Woman - The Guess Who
American Woman is a song by Canadian rock band The Guess Who, first released in January 1970 on the album of the same name and later in March as a single, which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song has been covered by many rock artists, including, Lenny Kravitz and Krokus.

The song's origins took the form of a live jam at a curling rink concert in Waterloo, Ontario. The group was rushing into the second set and began improvising a rhythm to liven up the crowd. Burton Cummings, the lead singer, began improvising lyrics to fit the music. They liked what they had played and noticed a kid with a cassette recorder making a bootleg copy and asked him for the tape. The subsequent studio recording features the original almost completely unchanged; only a few lines were added.

City girls just seem to find out early
Am ' D '
How to open doors with just a smile
  G Gmaj7 C '
A rich old man, and she won't have to worry;
       Am C G '
She'll dress up all in lace and go in style

Verse 2:
-------

Late at night a big old house gets lonely
I guess every form of refuge has its price
And it breaks her heart to think her love is
only
Given to a man with hands as cold as ice

Verse 3:
-------

So she tells him she must go out for the
evening
To comfort an old friend who's feelin' down
But he knows where she's goin' as she's
leavin'
She is headed for the cheatin' side of town

Chorus:
------
          G C G '
You can't hide your lyin' eyes
         Em Bm Am D7
And your smile is a thin disguise

There ain't no way to hide your lyin' eyes

Gmaj7 C ' Am D G '

Verse 4:
-------

On the other side of town a boy is waiting
With fiery eyes and dreams no one could steal
She drives on through the night, anticipating
Cause he makes her feel the way she used to
feel

Verse 5:
-------

She rushes to his arms, they fall together
She whispers, "It's only for a while"
She swears that soon she'll be comin' back
forever
She goes away and leaves him with a smile

Chorus:
------

You can't hide your lyin' eyes
And your smile is a thin disguise
I thought by now you'd realize
There ain't no way to hide your lyin' eyes

Verse 6:
-------

She gets up and pours herself a strong one
And stares out at the stars up in the sky
Another night, it's gonna be a long one
She draws the shade and hangs her head to
cry

Verse 7:
-------

She wonders how it ever got this crazy
She thinks about a boy she knew in school
Did she get tired or did she just get lazy?
She's so far gone, she feels just like a fool

Verse 8:
-------

My, oh my, you sure know how to arrange things
You set it up so well, so carefully
Ain't it funny how your new life didn't change
things?
You're still the same old girl you used to be

Chorus/Outro:

Her mind is Tiffany twisted, she got the

She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys, that

Some dance to remember, some dance to

So I called up the captain, Please bring

We haven't had that spirit here since

And still those voices are calling
from far away
Wake you up in the middle of the night,

Hotel California - The Eagles
Hotel California is the title song from the Eagles' album of the same name and was released as a single in February 1977. It is one of the best-known songs of the album-oriented rock era. Writing credits for the song are shared by Don Felder, Don Henley and Glenn Frey. The Eagles' original recording of the song features Henley singing the lead vocals and concludes with an extended section of electric guitar interplay between Felder and Joe Walsh. The song has been given several interpretations by fans and critics alike, but the Eagles have described it as their "interpretation of the high life in Los Angeles".

Mr. Tambourine Man - The Byrds
Mr. Tambourine Man is a song written and performed by Bob Dylan, which was released on his 1965 album Bringing It All Back Home. The Byrds also recorded a version of the song that was released as their first single on Columbia Records, reaching number 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the UK Singles Chart, as well as being the title track of their first album, Mr. Tambourine Man.

The Byrds recording of the song was influential in initiating the musical subgenre of folk rock, leading many contemporary bands to mimic its fusion of jangly guitars and intellectual lyrics in the wake of the single's success.

The Letter - The Box Tops
The Letter is a song written by Wayne Carson Thompson which was a #1 hit in 1967 for The Box Tops.

The track was recorded at American Sound Studio in Memphis in a session produced by Dan Penn. The recording session for "The Letter" began at 10 o'clock on a Saturday morning and took over thirty takes wrapping at either three or five o'clock that afternoon. Penn met Box Tops' vocalist Alex Chilton for the first time at the session: "I coached him a little...told him to say 'aer-o-plane", told him to get a little gruff, and I didn't have to say anything else to him". (Composer Thompson, who says he played guitar at the session, was thrown by Chilton's vocal, having imagined the song being sung in a higher key.) Penn - "[Chilton] picked it up exactly as I had in mind, maybe even better.

Here Comes the Sun (Fingerstyle) - The Beatles
"Here Comes the Sun" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1969 album Abbey Road. It was written by George Harrison and is one of his best-known compositions for the Beatles. Harrison wrote the song in early 1969 at the country house of his friend Eric Clapton, where Harrison had chosen to play truant for the day to avoid attending a meeting at the Beatles' Apple Corps organization. The lyrics reflect his relief at the arrival of spring and the temporary respite he was experiencing from the band's business affairs. As of September 2019, it was the most streamed Beatles song in the United Kingdom, with over 50 million plays.

Day Tripper - The Beatles
"Day Tripper" is a song by the Beatles, released as a double A-side single with "We Can Work It Out". Both songs were recorded during the sessions for the Rubber Soul album. The single topped the UK Singles Chart and the song peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in January 1966

Under the pressure of needing a new single for the Christmas market, John Lennon wrote much of the music and most of the lyrics, while Paul McCartney worked on the verses.

Blackbird (Fingerstyle) - The Beatles
Blackbird is a Beatles song from the double-disc album The Beatles (also known as The White Album). Blackbird was written by Paul McCartney, though credited to Lennon–McCartney.

McCartney explained on Chaos and Creation at Abbey Road, aired in 2005, that the guitar accompaniment for "Blackbird" was inspired by J.S. Bach's Bourrée in E minor, a well known lute piece, often played on the classical guitar.

We Gotta Get Out of the Place - The Animals
"We Gotta Get out of This Place" was written and recorded as a demo by Mann and Weil, with Mann singing and playing piano. It was intended for The Righteous Brothers, for whom they had written the number one hit "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'". But then Mann gained a recording contract for himself, and his label Redbird Records wanted him to release it instead. Meanwhile, record executive Allen Klein had heard it and given the demo to Mickie Most, producer for The Animals. Most already had a call out to Brill Building songwriters for material for the group's next recording session (the Animals hits "It's My Life" and "Don't Bring Me Down" came from the same call), and The Animals recorded it before Mann could.

Stay - Sugarland
Sugarland, an American country music duo, is composed of singer–songwriters Jennifer Nettles (lead vocals) and Kristian Bush (background vocals, lead vocals, mandolin, acoustic guitar, and harmonica). Sugarland was founded in 2002 by Kristen Hall with Bush and ultimately became a trio after hiring Jennifer Nettles as lead singer. After three years, Hall left the group.

Signed to Mercury Nashville Records in 2004, Sugarland broke through that year with the release of their debut single "Baby Girl", the first single from their multi-platinum debut album Twice the Speed of Life.
