Good Lovin - The Young Rascals
Good Lovin' is a song written by Rudy Clark and Arthur Resnick that was a number one hit single for The Young Rascals in 1966.

The song was first recorded in early 1965 by Canton, Ohio, R&B singer Limmie Snell under the name "Lemme B. Good". About a month later the song was redone -- with considerably rewritten lyrics -- by R&B/novelty artists The Olympics, but this version was only moderately successful at best, reaching number 81 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart.

Crimson and Clover - Tommy James and The Shondells
Crimson and Clover is a 1968 song by American rock band Tommy James and the Shondells. Written by the duo of Tommy James and drummer Peter Lucia Jr., it was intended as a change in direction of the group's sound and composition.

Tommy James made a rough mix of Crimson and Clover to show to Roulette Records executive Morris Levy for evaluation. The band was still intending to improve on the mix with ambient sound and echo. A few days later, James stopped at WLS radio station in Chicago – who he had previously had positive experience with – to get their reaction. After an interview discussing the single, he was convinced to play the rough mix for WLS off-air. Unbeknown to James, the station recorded the song, and they shortly played it on-air in November 1968 as a world exclusive.

Hanky Panky - Tommy James and The Shondells
"Hanky Panky" is a song written by Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich for their group, The Raindrops. A 1964 recording by The Shondells, later reissued in 1966 under the band's new, and more successful, incarnation of "Tommy James and the Shondells" is the best known version reaching #1 in the United States in 1966.

The lyrics of this song convey the excitement of a hormonal lad driven mad by a girl who knows how to do the suggestive dance of the title, building themselves around the oft-repeated lyrical hook of "My baby does the hanky panky." The music is equally simple and infectious, building itself on simple verse and chorus melodies that bounce up and down in a pleasant, bouncy fashion.

Alas, my love, you do me wrong,

To cast me out discourteously.
    Am ' G '
When I have loved you so long,
  F E7 Am '
Delighting in your company.

Chorus:

C+g ' G '
Greensleeves was my delight
F ' E7 '
Greensleeves was all my joy,
C+g ' G '
Greensleeves was my heart of gold,
    F E7 Am '
And who but my lady Greensleeves.

Your vows you've broken, like my heart,
Oh, why did you so enrapture me?
Now I remain in a world apart
But my heart remains in captivity.

Chorus

I have been ready at your hand,
To grant whatever you would crave,
I have both wagered life and land,
Your love and good-will for to have.

Chorus

If you intend thus to disdain,
It does the more enrapture me,
And even so, I still remain
A lover in captivity.

Chorus

My men were clothed all in green,
And they did ever wait on thee;
All this was gallant to be seen,
And yet thou wouldst not love me.

Chorus

Thou couldst desire no earthly thing,
But still thou hadst it readily.
Thy music still to play and sing;
And yet thou wouldst not love me.

Chorus

Well, I will pray to God on high,
That thou my constancy mayst see,
And that yet once before I die,
Thou wilt vouchsafe to love me.

Chorus

Ah, Greensleeves, now farewell, adieu,
To God I pray to prosper thee,
For I am still thy lover true,
Come once again and love me.

Chorus

Greensleeves (Fingerstyle) - Unknown
Greensleeves is a traditional English folk song and tune, a ground either of the form called a romanesca or of its slight variant, the passamezzo antico.

The tune is found in several late-16th-century and early 17th-century sources, such as Ballet's MS Lute Book and Het Luitboek van Thysius, as well as various manuscripts preserved in the Cambridge University libraries.

There is a persistent belief that Greensleeves was composed by Henry VIII for his lover and future queen consort Anne Boleyn. Boleyn allegedly rejected King Henry's attempts to seduce her and this rejection may be referred to in the song when the writer's love "cast me off discourteously". However, Henry did not compose "Greensleeves", which is probably Elizabethan in origin and is based on an Italian style of composition that did not reach England until after his death.

Bright shining as the sun,
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when did when we first begun.

Verse 1:
-------

          G '
From this valley they say you are goin'
       G D7
I will miss your bright eyes and sweet smile
         G C
For they say you are takin' the sunshine
       [ G D7 ] G
That has brightened our pathway the while

Chorus:
------

         G '
Come and sit by my side if you love me
       G D7
Do not hasten to bid me adieu
      G C
But remember the Red River Valley
       [ G D7 ] G
And the cowboy that has loved you so true

Verse 2:
-------

Do you think of the valley you're leavin'
Oh how lonely and dreary it will be
Do you think of the fond heart you're breakin'
And the sadness you've cast over me

Chorus:
------

Come and sit by my side if you love me
Do not hasten to bid me adieu
But remember the Red River Valley
And the cowboy that has loved you so true

Verse 3:
-------

For a long time my dear, I've been waiting
For the words that you never would say
And alas my poor heart you are breakin'
For they tell me you're goin' away

Chorus:
------

Come and sit by my side if you love me
Do not hasten to bid me adieu
But remember the Red River Valley
And the cowboy that has loved you so true

Verse 4:
-------

As you go to your home by the ocean
May you never forget those sweet hours
That we spent in the Red River Valley
And the love we exchanged mid the flowers

Chorus:
------

Come and sit by my side if you love me
Do not hasten to bid me adieu
But remember the Red River Valley
And the cowboy that has loved you so true

Intro: A (times 4)

       A ' E '
If you ever change your mind
      A ' D '
About leaving, leaving me behind
    A ' E
Oh, bring it to me, bring your sweet loving
E A D A E
Bring it on home to me, oh yeah

You know I laughed, when you left
But now I know I've only hurt myself
Oh, bring it to me, bring your sweet loving
Bring it on home to me, yeah, yeah, yeah

I'll give you jewelry, money too
and that's not all, all I'll do for you
Oh, bring it to me, bring your sweet loving
Bring it on home to me, yeah, yeah, yeah

God knows I've tried to treat you right
But you stayed out, stayed out all night
Oh, bring it to me, bring your sweet loving
Bring it on home to me

Solo: (one verse)

You know I'll always be your slave
Until I'm dead and buried in my grave
Oh, bring it to me, bring your sweet loving
Bring it on home to me, yeah, yeah, yeah

If you ever change your mind
About leaving, leaving me behind
Oh, bring it to me, bring your sweet loving
Bring it on home to me, yeah, yeah, yeah

Skip to My Lou - willc
“Skip to My Lou” is a simple game of stealing partners (or swapping partners as in square dancing). It begins with any number of couples hand in hand, skipping around in a ring. A lone boy in the center of the moving circle of couple sings, “Lost my partner what’ll I do?” as the girls whirl past him. The young man in the center hesitates while he decides which girl to choose, singing, “I'll get another one prettier than you.” When he grasps the hand of his chosen one, her partner then takes his place in the center of the ring and the game continues. It's an ice-breaker, a good dance to get a group acquainted to one another and to get everyone in the mood for swinging around.

It's interesting to note that “loo” is the Scottish word for “love.” The spelling change from “loo” to “lou” probably happened as Anglo-Americans, and the song, became Americanized.

Wonderful Tonight (Fingerstyle) - yunus guitarist
"Wonderful Tonight" is a song written and performed by English singer Eric Clapton. The ballad was included on Clapton's 1977 album Slow hand. Clapton wrote the song on his 1974 Martin D-28 guitar about Pattie Boyd. The female vocal harmonies on the song are provided by Marcella Detroit (then Marcy Levy) and Yvonne Elliman. It peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 on 15 July 1978, spending seven weeks in the top 40. In Canada it was in the top 40 for nine weeks.
-----------.

An interlude is an instrumental passage that connects different parts of the song. Interludes generally do not have a fixed length and some artists may even use interludes to transition from one song to another in an album.

Although there is no singular definition for an “interlude” in music, artists have often used it as a way to transition from one verse to another.
